Re: Cable Modem Connection Problem ... Ive eliminated all possibilities like hacking, virus,ISP etc, the TCP Optimizer worked fine when i used it before, but just recently i updated my Cable modem drivers & applied the Optimizer & now its causing problems, so im suspecting the Optimizer, what do u think???

More seriously, if the modem connection does drop, the EXEC session does not automatically reset. This can present a security hole, in that a subsequent call into that modem is able to access the console without entering a password.
