Habitat The moose lives in forested areas where there is snow cover in the winter and nearby lakes, bogs, swamps, streams and ponds. The moose's large size makes survival in warm climates difficult and they have difficulty when temperatures rise above 80 degrees Fahrenheit.

This is on the road between Leading Tickles and Botwood, and as I drove it, I expected to see a moose loping out of the woods at any moment. I didn't though, but this seems like the kind of place they'd prefer.
