At the intersection with Mud Mt. Dam road, we do some simple math (made challenging by fatigue) and figure out that we have more than three hours to cover slightly less than 75 km. That doesn't sound out of the question, and I'm a bit surprised to find myself out of bail-out mode and back into the ride.
