As a result I focus on how I talk and if I don't then I sound like I'm mumbling some words. I have started to Read aloud everyday and ... The main problem is that I mumble when i say some words, therefore I have been quiet out of the fear that people will think odd about how I speak. I hold back my speech, expression, etc.

Mumbling when I talk Mental & Emotional Health ... I have a mumbling problem too. Sometimes I just don't feel like saying the things I have to say. I have a lot of problems with how I speak as well. I spent a long time not talking much and honestly I think I forget how to talk.

First, we are going to determine if you have a mumbling problem. Take out your tape recorder or open up the voice recording program on your computer and talk into the mic like you would normal speak. When you are done, hit the playback button and listen to your voice.

There really are so many groups out there it would be hard to find a group that doesn't help with this mumbling problem that you feel you are having. There are bound to be speech groups, and self esteem groups happening all around you.
