I have heard of a "murder of crows" too, but only from that book "An Exhaltation of Larks" that appeared awhile ago and I was never sure that all those terms included were really correct or in common use. I've always heard "a flock of crows" or a "flight of crows" or a "gang of (young) crows" and rarely "a coven of crows".
