Nadelhorn, with its 4327 mts., is the third elevation of the Mischabel Chain and it is very popular in the Saas Valley, even if geographically it is closer to the Mattertal (Matter Valley) where its ridge continues toward.

The 4321m high mountain of Nadelhorn is situated in the southern part of Switzerland, close to the famous ski resort of Saas Fee. In 1991 I held a course in alpine climbing, and as part of the scheme was the ascent of Nadelhorn.
