Your upper cervical spine around C2 or skull forward do to bad neck posture can be just one of many conditions. You can do a google on Occipital muscles for examples of why they effect neck to behind ear & back of head. ... This pain is not just restricted to my head but it also feel quite bad in the neck.

Right ear fullness/ringing ; Pain behind right eye ; spot headaches on right side grinding teeth at night stiff neck - going into my shoulders ; I had an MRI/MRA back in Oct and all it showed was chronic sinusitis which I am being treated for by my ENT however he knows the pain is not coming from my ear.

I've recently started getting sharp stabbing, and sometimes burning pain behind my left ear. not directly behind it,, about and inch or so over. kinda where your skull ends and your neck muscles begin. this really hurts.......:-(
