We're working through a generation of young people who will have to learn about the negatives about socialism the hard way - because they weren't taught about it in school or at home. It is amazing how your perspective changes when you start having to pay taxes to support that socialist model.

Among the things you say that are absolutely untrue, the negatives you're mentioning are negatives of corruption, not Socialism. You make it sound as if the two are intertwining and they're not. BTW: if you think there isn't massive corruption in Capitalism, YOU need an education.

There are a lot of negatives to socialism. High taxes, low productivity as a result, and inept government management. It is un-American. If you think socialism will work better, go to one of those countries you admire and check it out for yourself.
