When my muscles started to loosen a little, I realized that my left leg and foot were going numb - it feels like they're "asleep". I can feel it faintly in my left foot if I'm touched, and I can still feel "cold" if I walk barefoot on a cold floor, but the back of my left leg and my left foot are "asleep".
