Students should remember that the school campus is a public environment and a public facility. Students and staff members are offended when exposed to certain behaviors. Students are to refrain from any public display of affection that would offend others.

Public display of affection was inappropriate Thursday, July 13, 2006 ... My three children were treated to an eyeful of amorous behavior by the lesbians seated on a public bench, not 10 feet ... There's a time and a place for affection, and a swimming pool parking lot after swim team practice is not the time or the place.

Acceptable Public Displays Of Affection ... The majority of women aren't going to demand a full-on make-out session on the street, but most will want at least the three pillars of Public Displays of Affection: 1) hand holding, 2) a kiss goodbye and 3) affectionate invasions of space.

My school says the most public affection we are allowed to show is hugging and handholding (although i've seen some repeat offenders!). I think that the P in PDA needs to be changed to Private, not Public, because I think that people should keep their love for their boyfriend/girlfriend out of everyone else's face.

Opinions will vary, ... I love public displays of affection. I dont need to see people groping in public.. but i love the perfect kiss that happens in walmart...or even a kiss on the neck for no reason... I love when a guy puts his arms around me and looks in my eyes and i forget we are in public and have a moment.
