Paramecium multimicronucleatum has several micronucleii whereas P. caudatum has only one. Paramecium multimicronucleatum also has several contractile vacuoles whereas P. caudatum has two. Paramecium bursaria is interesting, and might be chosen, because of its endosymbiotic unicellular green algae.
