In a sentence like this, does the period mark come before or after parenthesis? I walked to the door (but I didn't see it was closed). or; I walked to the door (but I didn't see it was closed.); What about the ... or whatever but the rule is the same, periods and commas always go INSIDE the parentheses or quotation marks.
