The 1 speeds were 99% as fast most times. Flight simulator was the only game that saw a significant improvement going to new interface.

How can i tell if a PCI slot is 2.1 compliant? CPUs and Motherboards ... i'm not an expert or anything but i think all motherboards manufactured in the last 3 years have been pc 2.1 compliant. i'm running a p133 with a voodoo 2, my system is more than 3 years old and it works fine with pc 2.1. hope this helps;

well I just got the Balster Audigy SE, and on my SG-72 (abit) motherboard I disabled the onbaord Realtek AC97 audio card via BIOS. Now when I pop my Audgiy SE to the PCI windows XP dosnt detect it, why? Is my PCI slot 2.1 complaint?

Thanks for your help mike10, tans thanks for the link. This is what the pc spec's say; PCI Slot; - 1 x 32Bit PCI 2.1 Compliant card up to 24cm; - PCI 2.1 Compliant; - Supports 3.3V and 5V PCI cards ; So if 5v=2.2, then 2.2 should work>?
