Soon, I'll be adding two 16 gauge helix and two 16 gauge anti-helix piercings to my right ear and then, for my next ear piercing, I'm considering getting an Industrial on my left ear above this cartilage piercing, (or I may pierce my monroe instead).

As he was gathering his tools, he asked if I was planning on stretching my ears. I am, but I'm not sure how far I'll go yet. I told him this, and he told me that he would pierce my ears slightly farther up in the lobe to ensure that future stretching would go well, and aid in ... O-ring on, he moved to my left ear.

I used these techniques to stretch my ear lobes to accept 6 gauge earrings. Everyone is different, so listen to your body during your gauging process. Don't move on to a larger size until you feel comfortable about the change.

What my ear looks like in 2000 ... This was as far as I took my ear, and indeed my piercing, for several years. Then, as I started to get other parts of my body pierced, I removed the small ring, and put in a BCR, as it matched a lot of other piercings that I had.
