I will ask him about the rules for PCFAs, since there seems to be differing information posted here (PCFA = persons carrying firearms - all flight crew are made aware of who these people are before the flight commences)

We would not need to arm our pilots if this were not the case. As far as what our country chooses to do in our own airspace is not anyone else’s concern. Not if our safety and wellbeing are at stake.
