Do you regularly feel pressure rising in your knuckle, toe, ankle, spine, neck or other joints and just cannot stand not to release it by cracking / creaking / clicking / popping the joint? Why do I feel that urge?

No is your answer, i am a sports and fitness major and i have askeds many of my Prof. and they all say the same thing there is no evidence that cracking your knuckles inflames the joints and leads to arthritis. the cracking causes the bones to pull apart, forming a gas bubble in the joint, and thats what makes the sound.

What causes the popping sounds? Actually, two separate and distinct sources ... On the other hand, the sound produced when we do deep-knee bends, is a snapping sound, produced when our tendons, which are merely the fibers that connect muscles and bones, elastically snap into new positions as our joints move under stress.
