It was not until the late 1980's that the Solitary Movement began with books by Scott Cunningham, "Wiccan A Guide for the Solitary Practioner" was a ground breaking work that gave detailed instructions for all those who wanted to practice Wicca but did not have access to covens, or preferred to practice alone.
