I have been in the process of trying to replace a yard full of Bermuda Grass with Dwarf Enduro Fescue since I recently added new sod into my back yard, and I don’t want to chance the Bermuda Grass from hitching a ride on my lawnmower and ruining my back yard.

Use yard roller after installation to ensure good soil/sod contact. Do this BEFORE you water the sod. Then water thoroughly. Keep the soil under the sod consisently damp until it has rooted. This can be done by watering daily for 7-10 days.

I am preparing to sod my front yard in the next couple of weeks. I am looking for a grass that is hardy, drought and weed resistant. I also have a dog that can be somewhat hard on grass. I looked into Zoysia grass, but determined it wasn't a really great grass for this climate.
