This is my first month on clomid .... took it day 5-9. Had FT on day 14 .... showed one large follicle ... Different DR's look for different levels. I was always told over 5 to show that you did indeed O...over 10 for pg. BUT if your DR is looking for over 20 and you are at 20 did they mention any progesterone support???

In my practice, I start women out on Clomid dosages of 50 mg. during five days in the early part of their cycle (usually days 4-8 or 5-9). If they ovulate, then they will release progesterone, but we like to see it at a level that's greater than 15.

I'm sorry, in my unprofessional opinion, I don't think a 6DPO progesterone level would indicate pregnancy, but it would indicate ovulation. Your level looks good for ovulation (greater than 15)! I don't think Clomid has any effect on progesterone levels, but this I don't know, I'm just guessing.

My HCG levels are high, however, my doctor called me today to tell me that my progesterone levels are low. It was 7. She prescribed progesterone pills for me. I am reading on the internet and ... He did say that if I were to get pregnant on clomid, recommending only one more cycle then IVF, that I should take progesterone.
