Well, considering Chinese names puts things in a different perspective. There is simply no way that an English speaker is going to even come close to correctly pronouncing Chinese names without lots of practice. Thus, Chinese names are usually grossly mispronounced.

And while it's close not only because I routinely mangle names on the podcast (both accidentally and sometimes, I'll admit, for comedic purposes), but my own name is ... I pronounce it KAH-nus, but some people have a problem and end up pronouncing it Kaynus. I usually let that pronunciation go, as it's not too far off.
