I was left with using the Add Channels to the QAM line up. Unfortunately, I would need to know their channel numbers in the standard xx.x format (ex: 58.4). I have no clue where to find that out. The ZAP2IT web site only shows the channel numbers the way Time Warner likes to see them, not the way a QAM TV would see them.

I have an OTA HDTV antenna and hooked it up and did the channel scan. I then proceeded to go to a digital channel and push the menu button to see the signal strength the only problem is their is no signal strength ... Did the QAM Scan/Signal and was really proud of myself, until the receiver said "Your Smart Card Is Not Authorized to Receive This Channel". Doh!

Encryption is there to prevent you from gaining access to a channel that you are not authorized to see. ... This is kind of an old thread, but just FYI, the ATi 650 does support QAM and that does mean you can get some channels for free, especially on Comcast as they have a wide variety of unencrypted QAM channel.
