According to columnist Larry Elder, John Kerry claimed that 1,000,000 black voters were disenfranchised in the 2000 election.

What is the black experience in 2007 America? I won't pretend to know what it's like, as a white girl who grew up in an upper-middle class town with maybe 2 black families in it.
