My Ranger SXT's are copper just like regular bullets. Is that one of the first runs of the ammo? These are the first "post Black Talon" loads. They're called "RA45SXT" and come with the same black Lubalox bullet as the original, but in a brass case.

I ran the 230-grain Ranger SXT loads through two different .45 ACP pistols. The guns were my vintage 4 1/4-inch H&K P9 and a newer Kimber Custom Target with the standard-length five-inch barrel.

I wish I could comment on the ranger SXT but I havent had a chance to send any of that stuff down range, yet..... I don't know how you feel about Cor-Bon but that is a stout round. although there can be a problem with Jacket separation.

1992 Ford Ranger XLT SXT from North America - Comments ... In general, I love Rangers. I love the one I currently have. I'll never get rid of it anytime soon.
