I believe, Sean "Puffy" Combs, CEO of Bad Boy records (biggie) and Suge Knight, at Death row Records (Tupac), had much to do with the beef between the two rap stars. They saw a lot of money from the east coast/west coast rap war that was going on and spark it up much more.
