hey, i have a RCA lyra and i have the problem of i/o error. that i can not access the device .. but i fixed with the firmware upgrate .. ... I went to turn it on tonight and got the File system corrupted.. then it shut down. I went to RCA's website... absolutely useless!! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I also have a RCA Lyra RD2765 and I'm also having the same problem Esteban is having. I hook the USB cord into the Lyra, but as it's loading, the File System Corrupted screen turns on, denying me access to my Lyra and its contents.

Mine had been giving me the "file system corrupted" error. So, I opened it up (unscrew the screw on the back, pry the back cover off with a small flat head screwdriver or a key, etc.) and saw that the connector between the CF ... Non copy-protected music can be dragged and dropped to the player using Windows Explorer (the most common method), but the music must be profiled before the player will recognize it. To profile the music, right-click on the Lyra system tray icon, and select "Profile Device Contents" to sort...

To top it all off, I am experiencing the "File System Corrupted" on the Lyra. I have yet to research any solutions or contact RCA about the problem, but I am disappointed in this product. As for the goober that says consumers who experience problems must not know how to use pc's or mp3 players, ID10T.
