I'd really like to suggest that people receive punishment for their crime and then (if there is enough reason to believe that the prisoner really wants to change), rehabilitation should be offered. Of course, ... Whose to say it is or isn't fair for Todd (in this case) to be guaranteed a high paying job once he is released.
