RE: Removing Lint from Sweaters ... I found a great substitute that worked just great for getting lint and pills off of dark sweaters. There is a product called "Pumie Scouring Stick" in the cleaning section of any store. It is made to remove deposits from porcelain tubs, toilets and sinks.

Invaluable Advice on household matters ... Subject: Removing "Pills" from Clothing. When "pills" develop on clothing (small wads of lint) use a rough piece of steel wool, run it over the material and the "pills" disappear. Very easy to do. Will not harm material.

A. I have always used a disposable razor to take fuzz balls off my sweaters and it works great and you can use the same razor again and again! Just light run the razor along the sweater and the fuzz balls come right off!
