I have been using tampons lately and this is my fourth period. It seems to me that when I pull the tampon out it's sorta hard to get out at first...and when it does start to come out it really hurts me.

Realize that if you feel some resistance when removing the tampon, it usually is because it is dry and can still absorb more flow. In this case, wait a while longer so that it will have more blood as lubrication. When you first start using tampons, you won't know when it's ready to be taken out.

Occasionally a woman will insert a tampon and either forget it is there or insert a second one without removing the first. Sometimes a woman will feel like something is not right and start to second guess herself on whether she actually removed a tampon or if it is still floating around ... The vagina is quite elastic and so, it is possible to put two tampons in, an old one in a second one or a penis. This is especially true if they are the smaller tampons. Sometimes, the tampon simply gets pushed in farther and harder than needed with the insertion.
