The 'RenFair' The Auld Garb Monger attends is the Renaissance Pleasure Faire of Southern California, which is set during the reign of Queen Elizabeth (1558 - 1603.) So properly, it is an Elizabethan Era fair. Pictured to the right is one of the actresses who have played the role of Queen Elizabeth over many years.

This is the skirt from the first ren outfit that i made.. but i made a new bodice and a new chemise to go with it. The bodyce is made from the same sheet that i made the skirt from. I put in some plastic boning that ... I used a pattern that i bought, I was sort of hurrying to get it done before I had to leave to come to school,
