: can anyone tell me the easiest and quickest way to repair a torn oil painting canvas...about 2-3" long...it does not have to be professional..only enough so i can finish my work...the front oils are in deep dark greens and blacks, etc...does not seem to show from the front much....thank you;

A. I'm sorry, but I don't know of anyway to repair a convertible top that would look halfway decent and be guaranteed waterproof. I don't even know if this is possible, but you can try taking a piece of canvas or some other similar material and applying the silicon to it.
