Shut off the water past the pressure tank and if the problem persists, then you have a leak between the foot valve and pump. If the pressure holds, then you have a leak past the pressure tank. ... If not and you loose prime, be prepared to not get water until you replace the foot valve. They are on the end of the suction pipe, not the well (especially a 3'/36" ID well!). Your dark gray PVC is sch 80. It's been around for decades and is excellent cold only potable water line and fittings.

I have a 1/2 Red Lion Jet pump that drops to zero pressure after 3-6 minutes of running. My is a shallow well, and currently with the high water table ...
