My atty told me today that I can not insist my stbx revert to her maiden name. He said it was her choice to use which ever name she chooses. She is the plaintive in the action. I'm not sure he's right about this.

Does a woman need a name change to begin using her maiden name again? ... however, I want to change my married name. I would be happy to request my maiden name.
