Got rid of them for good by planting a couple "Gopher Plants" (Euphorbia lathyris - Caper Spurge). ... Well they get rid of gophers too. All you have to do is stick it into the tunnel. The vibration will keep the gophers out. They do not use tunnels with something in them. Funny how something so simple works so well.

we don't get gophers in england, but lot's of rabbits, here people shoot them or get some one around with a ferret or two [small weasel] ferret's make good pets and do get rid of rabbits, If you get a pair you can breed them and sell them to your neighbours, you will proberbly make a fortune!!!!

Re: Getting rid of gofers. ... I don't really know how to get rid of gofers, but I remember Bill Murray had a hell of a time with them in Caddy Shack. The gofer won in the end. On a more serious note, and again I don't realy know, but I have always heard that Castor Beans get rid of Moles.
