My kid's shoes tend to leave a lot of scuff marks on our vinyl kitchen floor. I've found that cleaners don't work too well on these marks. But the one thing that does work really well is a rubber eraser. Not the kind you find on the end of a pencil, but the bigger white ones that you find in art supply stores.
