As simple as it sounds, I was wondering how to setup a network printer. I have the printers shared through the computer now, but if the computer isnt on then you cant print. How would you set it up so the printer is its own identity?

Choose the 'share this printer' option and give the printer a share name. Note that this name will be used to locate and identify the printer over the network, so it should have no more than 8 letters and no spaces or characters.
