So, I did end up finishing the first version of my boy’s shepherd costume last night. That’s why this morning, I asked him to do a fitting for me so I can make the necessary adjustments. As I said yesterday, I made this costume without measuring him properly – and without any patterns either.

Denver Fabrics has a great collection of religious costume patterns if you would like to buy a pattern. You should also check at your local fabric store. Because all of the costumes are basically the same, you can buy a pattern just for a shepherd and still use it to make most of your costumes.
