Show me another » ... A dc machine will not do it you will need an ac machine to weld aluminum. And 1/4" aluminum will need around 200 amps which puts you in a 220 volt power range machine. stick with a Miller, Hobart, Thermal Arc, Esab, or Lincoln machine if you want to be happy with it.
