Miniature Dachshund Colors explained ... I had a black & tan and a silver dapple puppy born out of a brindle sire and a silver dapple dam. Until they were about two weeks of age, I did not see the brindle in the tan points. There will be some colors of Dachshunds such as a chocolate where you may not see the brindle.
