I've only use a Mac for my .sit-ing, so I never knew it was a problem on Windows. So would you all suggest .zip conpression? Maybe I'll .zip files on my website instead of .sit-ing them.

Running .sit files requires StuffIt Expander, a program which you can get for free on their website...but only after you subscribe to their newsletter. From now on, just go here. Someone screwed up when they designed the site, and now you can just go directly ot the download page.

sit files and .bin files in Linux Linux - Newbie ... Having a somewhat trying time as a Linux newbie to get around the .bin .tar and .sit files among others, all of which I cant manage to open (dont ask). One gets a tool only to find its zipped with some other tool I cant unpack, go figure.
