Smelling Smoke Constantly ... I started smelling smoke about 3 months ago. Like the rest of you, it comes and goes and can be anywhere at any time. With no smoke around. I had sinus surgery and didn't smell the smoke for a couple of weeks. Then it came back.

It can definitely be triggered by smelling smoke, especially cigarette smoke. But then it disappears just as suddenly as it came when it gets good and ready to go. I was diagnosed today with massive candida growth in my intestines.

I recently had a very severe sinus infection. Took a z-pack, when I still had symptoms, took another antibiotic. I feel better now, but I'm experiencing this constant sensation of "smelling smoke" when there is none.
