"I recently purchased your publication on the removal of sulphur smell from well water. I live in North Pole, Alaska, and this area is notorious for its bad water. In the two years I have been here the water has gotten progressively worse, until last week when it was unbearable.

Most often "smelly water" will be noticed with well water or when a water heater has not been used for a long time allowing the accumulation of this hydrogen sulfide gas. Active use of the water heater may reduce the problem.
