I disagree with the other poster in that it is hard to dig and hard to transplant successfully. I received one from my sister-in-law several years ago. It was a potato type of bulb, Rizome? I suppose you call it, I let it sit in a plastic ... A month later I returned from a week away and there in the yard was a 4 ft.
