I spent $150 on B-quiet extreme. I was gonna go the Peel N Seal route but I've read a lot on the web that it'll peel off easily in hot weather. Most sound deadening is resistant to high heat unlike the home depot stuff. ... It's mostly material used, thickness of the material, and the dampening ability of the material.

It's 6" x 25' of standard foil-backed asphault material. **Prep the metal surface with soap/water, acetone, alcohol, or your degreaser of choice. I used cheap wal-mart purple degreaser. I wore deerskin gloves and used my utility knife to cut the PeelSeal.
