RE: Sweetbay Magnolia-What's on the leaves? ... I just found the same white 'stuff' and trails on 2 of my sweet bays yesterday. Have had them for 3-4 yrs and have never seen this but they have always been an issue as far as slow growth, very few leaves, and it looked to me like there was a fungus or something on the trunk.
