Both times, It didn’t occur to me it might be a stuck tampon. This last time I went to the doctor and mentioned the “what if” scenario of leaving a tampon inside. SHe did a pelvic exam and found nothing. So sick with the foul odor I decided to take a bath and after 30 minutes of soaking, I took a shower.

Has anyone ever "lost" a tampon inside them? About 2x months ago had thought I put one in, but then could not find it. Is it possible for a tampon to work its ... So I wound up seeing the DR on the resort (who luckily was female) and she wound up having to remove it. How embarrasing. And I got stuck with a nice 100.00 bill.

I too have just returned from my doctor and she found a tampon up inside me. It has been there over a week. Ewwww! I was so embarrased, she said not to be, that she had seen it many times before. The smell was very bad.
