That puke green color comes from a chemical called bile. It's not in your stomach - it comes from further down in your digestive system. When you puke, mashed up food in your intestines comes up, past the stomach and out again - it can bring bile along with it.

I had an endoscdopy and they found that I have Celiac disease, which is an allergy to wheat /gluten, so that is what all the gastro doctors concentrate on...but I am still getting the throwing up bile thing, and I have since cut out gluten 100%,

I had another violent episode this passed Friday of throwing up liver bile and boiled over in excruciating pain. I just dealt with it and didn't go to the hospital. I'm very tired of being told it's just phantom pains.

If your dog seems to be throwing up the thick, yellow, stomach bile, at the same time every night, try feeding him a small handful of dog food just before bedtime. This seems to settle the stomach, preventing stomach acid from building up.
