Body Piercing question: Does it hurt when you get your tongue pierced? Answers (several) I got my tongue pierced 2 days ago, it didn't hurt when i got it done but it hurts afterwards. You can't eat solid ... The sides of my head hurt immediately after the piercings. The top of my head hurt. And of course, my tongue hurt a lot.

My friend got her tongue pierced and I was there to catch it all on camera. ... By the time he was ready to actually pierce her tongue, I am confident there is no way she had any unanswered questions. Her only fear remaining was how much it would hurt. That was answered in less than a second and she barely even flinched.

One thing that I swore I'd never do was pierce my tongue. When I was 14, this guy in my class had his ... My tongue was held still with a clamp, and rinsed out with listerine to numb it (I think). She gave me aromatherapy, and counted to three, than pierced my tongue. It stung. It hurt less than getting my ears pierced.

Then, to figure out where to pierce my tongue, she had me put my index finger below my bottom lip and stick my tongue out and down over it. right where my finger and lip met was where she put the dot ... It didn't hurt much, just a little sting. It was kind of gross feeling the needle go through the layers of my tongue though.
