Last night i sat and read threw every post as my 4 yr old son was having his tongue tie op today. ... If I leave my tongue doing nothing then its fine. The surgery itself is fine...I wouldnt sweat it about that.

This is when the little flap of tissue under the tongue (the frenulum) is attached a little to far up the front of the tongue. This does not allow the tongue to stick out far enough. In mild cases, there is no problem.
