HealthBoards Bulletin Board; Parkinson's Disease; Drinking Tonic or Quinine water? ... I tried drinking quinine or tonic water for the terrible dystonia I got in my left foot. It didn't work. I think there isn't enough quinine in it to make any difference. I also tried quinine pills, and they didn't work either.
