Windows XP USB DEVICE NOT RECOGNIZED errors Hardware and Windows XP ... I have had Active Sync installed for a while and was capable of hot plugging devices USB, now when I hot plug my axim or any other usb device is says "usb device not recognized". Any ideas guys? I'm running IE version 6 with SP2. I keep getting a pop up window on the task bar saying: "USB Device Not Recognized, One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and windows does not recognize it.
